Recycling Update

Dental Products

Coppice View Dental Practice on Kings Road has now become a designated recycling drop off point for oral care related products, thanks to a nationwide initiative by Colgate.

They’ll take any make (not just Colgate) of the following things ;-

Toothbrushes

Empty toothpaste tubes  (well squeezed out) and caps.

Electric toothbrush heads

Toothpaste boxes

Toothbrush packaging

I’m happy to deliver them for you. (Please put them, dry and bagged, in the Cone Exchange box at the back of church, if I’m not around).

A company called TerraCycle, who oversee the recycling of difficult to process items, are behind this initiative. Charities also benefit from this scheme financially depending on the weight of what’s given to be recycled.

Cone Exchange

Please continue to collect the following to benefit the church’s “craft treasure” account at the Cone Exchange…. and the environment! There’s a labelled green box at the back of church for them.

Old Mobile phones

Prescription spectacles

Fabric Conditioner Bottle Tops

Roll-on deodorant balls (or the whole container)

Household cleaner bottle spray tops

Washing up liquid caps

Buttons

Stamps

Foreign Currency

Cellophane Bags

Heather and I would be grateful for any plastic “cello” sleeves that greetings cards come wrapped in so that they can be reused, including those that wrap cards bought from the selection at the back at church.

Thank you.
